Top Ten ALL TIME Favorite Authors

This is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

I'm so excited to participate in this meme! I didn't think I could do it because in my mind I didn't really have a lot of authors, but then I went through my list of books and found my list! So here it goes: My Top Ten All Time Favorite Authors

10. John Green. Debated for so long if I should include him or not but The Fault In Our Stars is one of my favorite books -ever- so I knew I had to put him in my list, even though I haven't really loved the other books of his. Some of the sentences he comes up with are so fucking amazing. Jesus, I'm just not worthy.

9. Gayle Forman, I have read, technically, six of her books and I really enjoy her stories and her writing style. I would have to say my favorite ones have been Just One Day and Just One Year.

8. Melina Marchetta, she was one of the first authors I read in English and she made me become obsessed with reading. I have read four of her books so far and my favorite one is On The Jellicoe Road, I have the worst memory ever, but I know I loved it and I cried with it, back when I read it my review was "this book is absolutely brilliant". Oh.

7. Richelle Mead, she is one of those authors that make me wonder 'HOW CAN THEY COME UP WITH ALL OF THIS?!' Forever thankful to her because Adrian Ivashkov. Sorry, not sorry. Also Rose Hathaway. I have read twelve of her books and I can't choose just one book of hers because both series have been so great.

6. Maggie Stiefvater, I read her books just last month but they became one of  my favorites. Also she writes in a really fantastic way so of course she is one of my favorite authors. I have read three of her books and my favorite one is Blue Lily, Lily Blue.

5. Jennifer Niven, I have read one of her books, All The Bright Places but it was so good that it's one of my favorites now. What a heartbreaking and beautiful story. I love the characters that Jennifer created and her writing style is just so moving.

4. J.M Darhower. I would read her shopping list. That's how much I enjoy her writing. I first read one of her fanfictions and I fell in love with it, hard. I laughed, I cried and I wanted to throw my computer to the ground but still, I continued reading whatever she published and now I have read eight of her books. My favorite work of hers is the Sempre series.

3. Jojo Moyes. I have only read one of her books but dude, was it good. I loved it so much. I keep recommending it to my friends. Another heartbreaking but incredibly beautiful story. The power Jojo has with words is something out of this world. Seriously.

2. Tiffany Reisz. She is the reason why I am so picky when it comes to erotica. Her stories are so well written. I highly recommend her books if you are into this genre. The characters are so complex and so are their stories, there is actually a plot! A great one. I have read five of her books. My favorite one is probably The Saint.

1. Tahereh Mafi. This woman. My god. I absolutely adore her writing style, I have never read anything like it. I have read, technically, four of her books (one is a companion novella). I rarely re-read books but I think I'm going to do it very soon with these. I can't part with Juliette and Warner, nope.

And this has been it! What do you guys think? Agree? Disagree? I wanna know what your favorite authors are, so link me yours! Until next time :)

  3. OMG. Your blog is so adorable!

I'm reading All the Bright Places right now, and I've already cried. I feel like that means I'm really going to ball when I get to the end. :'( But... I'm really liking it so far, so I can't wait to see what her second book will be like.
