Oh amigos.  Welcome to this week's Words To Live By. While I was looking for quotes to share here, I stumbled upon this one, a favorite of mine I must admit. Here it is:

I couldn't find a source for this, the url linked in this post is no longer active. That link will take you to my tumblr, where I found the quote in order to make this post.

It feels as if I am sharing a very personal thing today, but that's because whenever I read this haiku, I have someone in mind. Maybe you guys have one too, aren't words beautiful? It's crazy to think of all the power they have. To me, this quote is like a reminder, to always be careful of the people I surround myself with.

What do you think of it? Let me know your thoughts on this quote in the comments! :)

  1. Ah, I love quotes like this. I am ALL for quotes that empower a person, or bring power to a person who otherwise feels powerless. I love quotes that say "Hey, you need to focus on yourself and NOT worry about other people."

One of my all time favorite quotes is "Girls who run with the wolves aren't here for boys to love." LOOOOVE that quote, and I'll never 100% know why. It's the type of quote I would get tattooed on my body, but it's also the type of quote that I feel is better said quietly and not tattooed. If that makes sense. :P

    1. So good to see you here, Sydney! :) I am kind of dancing right now, lolol. YES! I love those kinda quotes too. That's why I wanted to start this feature, to share them. Omg I had never heard that quote but it's so powerful. That was my first thought when I first read it. I would want to say it quietly, though because it's so deep.

Thank you for stopping by! :)

  2. This is amazing.
You always find such beautiful quotes!
I feel like this one would apply to SO MANY characters in YA, too.
Also, I nominated you (for something again- hope you don't mind) for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award! It would be great if you would hop on over and check it out - I would love to see your answers.

    1. Aw, thank you Olivia! These are all quotes that I find deep and that somehow inspire me :) I hadn't thought of the quote for YA but you're so right. Sometimes I feel like slapping some characters because they deserve better and they don't see it, damn it! I just saw the tag! Will be creating the post soon! Thank youuuuu <3
